Cruise ships bring millions of visitors to places people dream about. We think more of the shore-day opportunity should be accessible to the independent local people who live there.
Vibing Around starts with a different question: instead of choosing a rigid tour first, what if you chose the local person you wanted to spend the day with?
The idea
The person is the experience.
Traditional shore excursions often begin with a product: a fixed route, a fixed set of stops, a bus, a schedule. Vibing Around begins with a person. You see the driver, their vehicle, their interests and their price, then decide whether that is who you want showing you around.
The day can still include famous beaches, overlooks, food, history and landmarks. The difference is that those things are possibilities, not a script. You and the driver can shape the day together.
A more human way to see a place
A local driver can tell you what changed, what is crowded, what is worth seeing today, where they like to eat and what they would skip. That conversation is part of the experience.
Fairer, local-first tourism
We use “local-first” and “fairer tourism” as principles, not as a certification claim. The aim is practical: create a marketplace where the local person has visibility, pricing control and a direct relationship with the traveler.
